Who Says?

“I don’t disagree with the Bible. I just disagree with your interpretation of it.” Ever heard this? Ever said it? It is pretty hard to combat this statement. After all, who is to say who’s interpretation of the Bible is right? When discussing this issue a significant question arises: What is the role of tradition and history in understanding what the Bible teaches?

Disagreeing with God

What happens when we realize that we disagree with God? If we are honest, even those of us who are Christians will admit that we sometimes don’t agree with something that God says in his Word. What do we do when we realize that we have this disagreement? What are our options?
